Using Koriander

By creating an account, you agree to these terms. Koriander is a personal recipe management tool. You may use it to store, organize, and share your own recipes and content you have the right to use.

Your content

You own the recipes and content you create. By making a recipe public, you allow other Koriander users to view and fork it. You can make any recipe private at any time.

Copyright and scanned recipes

Recipes scanned from cookbooks, magazines, or other copyrighted sources are automatically set to private and cannot be made public. This is by design — sharing copyrighted recipes publicly is not allowed.

If you publish copyrighted material as a public recipe, we will remove it and may suspend or permanently ban your account. If you believe your copyrighted work has been shared without permission, please contact us.

Acceptable use

Do not use Koriander to:

• Share copyrighted content you don't have rights to
• Upload harmful, illegal, or abusive content
• Abuse AI features (automated bulk usage, prompt injection, etc.)
• Create accounts for spam or scraping

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

AI features

AI-powered features (scanning, generation, recipe chat) consume credits. Results are generated by AI and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before using or sharing it.

Payments

The free plan includes basic features and a limited number of AI credits. Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. You can cancel anytime from your billing page. Overage credits beyond your included amount are billed monthly at the stated rate.

Availability

We aim to keep Koriander available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uptime. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings. This permanently removes all your data. We may also delete accounts that have been inactive for more than 12 months.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
